Internal Audit Director, Jeannie Alday, and Project Manager, Kelvin Lewis, join CEMA staff to discuss the County's Evacuation Assembly Area (EAA). The EAA is a resource available during a hurricane evacuation that helps residents with no transportation resources evacuate to a safe location.

Georgia Tech and CEMA join forces to discuss the Smart Sea Level Sensors Project. Coastal flooding represents a growing threat to the City of Savannah and areas throughout Chatham County. The Smart Sea Level Sensors project is a partnership between CEMA officials, City of Savannah officials, and Georgia Tech scientists and engineers who are working together to install a network of internet-enabled sea level sensors across Chatham County. The real-time data on coastal flooding will be used for emergency planning and response.
